Welcome!
I aim to provide a safe space that fosters healing and self-growth for people of all backgrounds. I recognize that seeking therapy can be intimidating, and I would be grateful to have the opportunity to offer you both a listening ear and guidance on your journey.
In the therapy room:
I offer online sessions, which allows you to fit therapy into your busy schedule with comfort and ease. As a therapist, I remain unbiased and meet you where you are. During our sessions, I will prompt reflection, as well as encourage setting and maintaining healthy boundaries. I value a holistic approach, which considers your mental, physical, emotional, and (if applicable) spiritual well-being. This approach can allow for both of us to have greater understanding of you as a person, and therefore better meet your needs. Our sessions will offer you a safe, supportive, welcoming, and private place to process, grow, and work towards your goals.
My experience:
I received my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, and I have a master's level certificate in clinical practice. I have well-rounded experience in the mental health field, having previously worked in case management and care coordination before becoming a therapist.
Outside the office:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat! When I am not working I like to unwind by building LEGOS, playing video games, and trying out new dessert spots! I prioritize my self-care by traveling, reading, hiking, camping, and going for nature walks.
