Anti-Racism Resources
Jun 22, 2022Juneteenth which marks the end of slavery on June 19, 1865, is now officially recognized as a federal holiday. It’s a great day to continue your anti-racism journey, and Being Human Group has some resources for you to consider. As always, make sure you are following black authors and artists, and taking time to learn on your own. Remember to delete the phrase: “Can I just pick your brain for a minute” from your vocabulary as were are not asking folks to teach us for free-we need to be compensating people for their time and expertise, and there are many free resources available to you! This is by no means to complete list, just a few things or people our group found helpful!
