Hi! I’m Megan.
I obtained my MSW from Wayne State School of Social Work with a focus on interpersonal practice and psychodynamic theory. I am also a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Clinical Social Work. I have training in trauma-informed practice and utilize this training with my clients. I also have extensive work, research, and advocacy experience in teen parents with a history of trauma. I specialize in adolescents and adults to become insight-oriented to resolve symptoms and create a better mindset through empowerment and other psychodynamic-focused interventions. I have a wide-range of areas I work with, including PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and Post-Partum depression.
I offer a non-judgmental, empathic, and safe space to explore inner conflicts and experiences that contribute to your suffering. I will meet you where you are and provide treatment unique to your needs while building rapport to create trust. As a partner and advocate of your mental health journey, I will support and teach you how to overcome life challenges, past and present.
